this is mister papa bear. one of three bears i'm making for us to play with. mama bear and little k bear are still to come. on new years day we took papa bear for a walk downtown. we wanted to hunt for neat backdrops for photography.
and boy did we find some. when we got downtown we walked a little ways and crossed paths with a gentleman. he was carrying his fancy camera and tripod. i asked him if he could point me to some cool walls that would make nice backdrops for photos. he not only pointed them out, he walked us all of the way to a great spot.
look at this. she is so beautiful she did not even want to waste the time looking at the camera. i'm not a fan of graffiti, but you must agree this does make a neat place of photos.
ohh it is so hard to be so fashionable.
more graffiti.
this alley had a nice soft light. i loved it.
this is the perfect door. so funny. this is why. i keep showing papa bear to kennedy and i ask her, who is this? she replies, "monkey!" i say, "nooo, this is papa bear." she says again, "monkey!" would you say a door with a sheep saying meow is a perfect spot for papa bear's shoot? i think so. sooooo, i will give away a papa bear just like this one. leave a comment and on monday, january 12 i will draw a name. i hand drew this pattern and i was going to post it for you all. however i realized my new printer/scanner is not working well with the mac. i sent hp an email and as soon as i get it working i will scan it and post a little tutorial on how to make this little guy.
wishing you a wonderful week!
