wow! i can't believe kennedy is two and it is the day before christmas! we had a full day out on the town! first k got dressed in her birthday dress. and a matching one for her new friend, the bamboletta abby.
once the girls got dressed we headed off downtown to gailey's breakfast cafe. this is the old pharmacy counter. the place where you can get amazing breakfast and milkshakes.
"sir, may i have chocolate chip peanut butter pancakes, please?"
"of course you may little one!" "happy birthday!"
"thank you!" yumm!
and heart healthy breakfast for mama and papa. this was too good!!!
after breakfast we went for k's first ever movie in the movie theather. we went to see the tale of despereaux. which was very very cute. i could not believe kennedy lasted the entire movie!! after the movie we attended our churche's christmas eve service. this is a gigantic church and it was packed with people. the service was beautiful! and a great reminder that christmas isn't about material presents, but spiritual presents, jesus' birth.
when we finally made it home, we where all so tired. we took a little time to place milk and cookies for santa. after all, we must thank him for whatever he brings us!
we read our christmas eve tradition book, the night before christmas. i bought this book the day before kennedy was born. i just knew that it would not be long until i'd meet my little girl.
and thoughout the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
this was a great day for us. we are so excited about tomorrow! i hope each one of you will have a blessed christmas filled with great joy!!!
Merry Christmas to all!!!
