kennedy's playroom has been featured by cookie magazine! hooray! head over there for the interview. this is soo exciting! below are some images of the room!
i posted the pictures of the playroom a several days ago on my flickr. but i thought i'd show them here too. we painted the walls white and hung a few more things. if you remember, this room first made its appearance on the blog here and here. now i think it looks like how i envisioned. i'm ready to move on to another room!!

yes i do love fairy tales. especially little red riding hood and the wizard of oz. below are some of my sweet dollies.

lovely stockmar beeswax crayons, they are really chubby and very hard to break. we also love lyra colored pencils and aquacolor crayons.
a place for all of her art. this cable system is from ikea. it was meant for curtains, but the clips seemed like a cool way to rotate her art. it goes from wall to wall. i can also hang notes from her friends.

the antique school table and chairs.

best friends in the universe!

rocking horse from bajo toys . this has been ridden a few thousand miles!

my favorite wall. i'm a babar fan. i grew up watching his cartoons. i also heart the little prince. i guess i'm still a big kid at heart.
the lovely hot air balloon mobile is found here.

i found these locally. i believe the stove is from plan toys. but i do not know who made the washer/dryer combo. it was a gift from my in laws.

up above is a picture of my little felt hot air balloons. i'm making a curtain for the playroom. one panel is done and i have one more to make. it has been a loong process but i know i will love the results.

my friend amber gave kennedy the owl messenger bag for her birthday. i know she got it on etsy. i just don't know where. kennedy loves stuffing it with whatever she can find. then she walks around saying "i'm ready to go!" i made the cupcake bag. it is her little farmer's market bag. i have a matching one.

the sweetest gift from brazil. thalita dol sent me this original drawing of kennedy in her halloween costume. she did not spare any details. thanks again thalita. this will be cherished for years to come.

in the package was also this handmade kitty and another print. that one is in the frame shop getting its dress. and the kitty will make his appearance soon. she is tooooooo cute!
well, i hope you enjoyed this little tour of the playroom and the interview on cookie mag. i need to update the playroom album now. happy thursday!!
