who ever thought that changing camera brands would be liking disowning your family. well, it is almost like that. i have been stalking the UPS guy today and he finally showed up with my new shiny toy. ins't she pretty? i'm about to become a nikon girl. this was not my original dream camera and lens, but after a LOT of research and help of some pretty awesome people, i settled for this duo: nikon d700 and a 85mm 1.4 lens. they are my dream now and i can't wait to shoot with them.
i'm finally done with classes for this semester and trying to catch up on life and sewing. just be patient, you will see progress soon. right now, i need to go study a manual. :)
She's a beauty!!! Now, we're bound together through Nikon. Welcome to the family! I just got the d200 for Mother's day, too. We'll have to compare notes.

I love my Nikon. It's not D700 (I'm missing a zero on the end :)) but I have a 50 mm 1.4 lens and am so in love with it. I can't wait to upgrade. I'm anxious to see images from you with the 85mm lens - I'm debating on adding it to my lens wishlist :)

I have a D80 and I love it! I find the fixed focal length lens's take the best photos.
